Senior Manufacturing Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW: As Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you'll optimize production processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure manufacturing excellence for our medical device portfolio. You'll lead DFM efforts, implement cost-saving measures, and maintain quality standards in our regulated environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Spearhead process optimization and automation initiatives
  • Develop and validate manufacturing procedures aligned with ISO/FDA requirements
  • Drive cost reduction through innovative manufacturing solutions
  • Lead equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and new product transitions
  • Design fixtures and tooling to enhance production efficiency
  • Manage documentation including work instructions and engineering changes
  • Provide technical leadership for production support and problem resolution
  • Partner with R&D on manufacturability and cost optimization

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in medical devices
  • Proven expertise in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
  • Strong foundation in engineering drawings, specifications, and process planning
  • Experience with SolidWorks and technical documentation
  • Machine shop knowledge (milling, turning, grinding) valued
  • Excellence in problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong analytical skills and self-motivated work style

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in medical device manufacturing while working with advanced technologies and processes.

Compensation range $100K to $145K+
