Become an integral part of our journey as we collaboratively Form Our Future Together, setting the stage for a new era in semiconductor excellence.PURPOSEThe Manufacturing Technician will work in the MEMS fab to support planarization manufacturing process, disposition wafers, and assist on engineering tests. This position will be working on a swing shift to partially cover the night shift. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support Grinding and CMP manufacturing process. Familiar with automatic grinding and CMP tools and be able to do simple troubleshooting. Perform minor maintenance as required in an efficient manner. Disposition wafers with common issues or as directed by engineers. Execute experiments and follow special instructions from engineers. Train manufacturing operators. Communicate closely and clearly with engineering and production team. Strictly follow area EHS and Quality rules. Work time is 8hr per day, 5 days per week and will be on a swing shift to partially cover the night shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm).EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED Associate's or Bachelor's degree in technical field preferred, but not required with a proven excellent track record as a manufacturing technician. 2-4 years of experience working in the MEMS or semiconductor industry especially with direct experience of planarization (Grinding, and CMP) manufacturing process. Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently with general guidance. Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel). Knowledge of SPC or JMP is preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.The pay range for this role in Livermore, CA is between $25.80 and 33.86 per hour. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
