As an Operations Central Team Manufacturing Alignment Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will manage, coach, and mentor a team of Manufacturing Alignment Engineers and OCT TPM Coordinators.
You will deliver results by removing barriers and assisting in solving and advancing issues. You and your team will be responsible for continuously improving performance and efficiency of the manufacturing teams at your site by driving standardization and adoption of network BKMs.
Your objective is to demonstrate global internal and external resources to drive network process and equipment alignment to achieve world-class manufacturing performance.
The Manufacturing Alignment team establishes Training, Disciplines, Alignment Programs and Team/Talent management to enable virtual clustered scale. Examples include using suppliers to achieve benchmark manufacturing performance, discovery and implementation of equipment and process best known methods (BKM), equipment utilization optimization, cash cost and labor efficiency optimization, and continuous improvement project prioritization and execution globally. This position will be in Boise and support ID1 HVM site in coaching, training of HVM network BKMs, systems and practices to support the site development, ramp, and integration to the network. You will also be responsible to sponsor or coach MAE program managers to set network strategy in MAE programs to drive roadmap improvements for programs in area of responsibility.
You must be willing and capable of effective collaboration with sites, Procurement, Global Quality and other OCT departments, and external suppliers to accomplish your objectives. You must also be willing and capable of international travel, as needed, to accomplish your objectives.

Responsibilities and Tasks

- Create strong morale and team spirit, share wins and successes, foster open dialog, acknowledge team dynamics, build on positive relationships, and addresses negative ones.
- Develop alignment programs with TPM core teams and task force teams across the network to drive BKM alignment and network standardization to improve efficiency and performance in each of the Pillars.
- For improvements in scale, identifying and driving improvements in Tool Utilization to meet BIC standards including elimination of low utilization tools in Micron, generation of globally aligned cold/warm idle shutdown of tools when not in need to generate OPEX and CAPEX savings, and resolving Tool POR-MOR gaps on major volume, with aligned BKMs & PDM updated.
- For Speed this will include execution of Early-Stage Transfer Alignment (ESTA) to foster BKM sharing between technologies, process recipe alignment and identification and alignment of BKMs to improve machine mismatch and defect performance.
- For Quality alignment of PM Procedures, for shared workstations, Post Maintenance Qualifications, Scrap reduction and GDM recurrence prevention.
- For Cost performing Power Walks to understand practices and development of methodology and system improvements to drive labor efficiency and driving cost improvements through activities such as PM parts frequency alignment to reduce OPEX spending.
- For People TLP development programs and Engage/Voice improvements.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years experience in a semiconductor FAB environment
- Strong background in Fab Operations, Process, Equipment and Micron Systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and coordinate with site and global teams.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience as Process/Equipment Owner
- Prior Management/Leadership experience
Education
- Required - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
