Manufacturing Engineer 5

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer 5 in Lafayette, IN. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $101,000/hr + OT including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Cullerton Group will provide sponsorship.

• Support New Capital Introduction (NCI) activities.
• Support daily continuous improvement activities.
• Design new tooling to resolve assembly processes challenges.
• Review/Update/Develop Assembly documentations. Such as standard work, PFMEA, Control Plan, SFMEA etc.

Typical task breakdown:

• Work on Continuous Improvement (CI) cards
• Design tooling associated with CI cards
• Update assembly documentations (SW, PFMEA, Control Plan, SFMEA)
• Procure parts through NexGen for assembly line – basic training will be provided.
• Follow up with Tool shop, Central shop and Facility engineering on jobs issued through system (LLumin, B-Zone etc.) – basic training will be provided.
• Write tool order (RFE and SWO) to facility engineering – basic training will be provided.
