Allied Group is hiring: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician in Houston

Job Description:\n\n Responsibilities and DutiesPerform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.Maintain and manage preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. This includes maintaining records in our Quality Management System.Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.Responsible for Plumbing, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Gas systems in facility. Will be responsible to acquire contractors and manage repairs / projects as required.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.Responsible for Gauge Calibrations on all equipment where it is required. Works with Quality on scheduling of calibrations.Responsible for reporting on the Maintenance Portion of 3rd Party Audits pertaining to the Maintenance and upkeep of the facility and equipment. Requirements and QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.5+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.
