What You’ll Do:

  • Optimize Processes: Continuously analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
  • Quality Collaboration: Work closely with quality control teams to ensure products meet specified standards, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Production Scheduling: Contribute to production scheduling by coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and effective resource management.
  • Cost-Saving Initiatives: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities that maintain product quality and support the company’s financial goals.
  • Design for Manufacturability: Partner with design and R&D teams to optimize product designs for manufacturability (DFM) principles.
  • Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process flowcharts.
  • Safety First: Ensure all activities comply with safety standards, identifying potential hazards and implementing preventive measures.
  • Lead Manufacturing Engineering process for 2nd Facility -MUST be willing to travel to Labelle, FL significantly

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
  • CAD Proficiency: Experience with CAD software such as SolidEdge, or SolidWorks.
  • CAM Skills: Proficiency in CAM software and the ability to interpret design drawings.
  • Lean Principles: Demonstrated experience in Six Sigma/Lean manufacturing and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems, including setup for items, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and sequence routers.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
  • Physical Ability: Comfort with working in a manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods and handling moderate weights.
  • Ability to Travel 50% or More of the time to Labelle, FL

  • Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies like 3D printing, CNC machining, metal fabrication, or robotics.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and adaptability in changing manufacturing environments.
  • Confidence in working with a range of manufacturing equipment and machinery.
