8AM-4PM

Starting at $18/HR

This position requires the following:

Work to assure on-time production and/or delivery

Inspect and identify machinery in need of repair.

Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues.

Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns.

Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.

Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Have general knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.

Maintain high employee morale and positive relationships.

Follow safe work practices and good housekeeping procedures

Uphold machines and/or equipment in good repair.

Able to perform change overs efficiently.

Have ability to learn equipment and its operation with the ability to make adjustments

Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications/Requirements

The successful candidate will:

Have diploma or GED, or equivalent training and experience.

Have good communication and interpersonal skills

Have problem solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Have ability and desire to learn.

Physical requirements

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met

by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job:

Must be able to stand; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls;

reach with hands and arms; walk; sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and occasionally

required to climb or balance.

Must be able to work in high temperature environment.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis from floor to shoulder

Must be able to physically navigate around a plant/production environment, including the

repetitive climbing of stairs and elevated walkways.
