JOB PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor and the Manufacturing Tech Shift Leader, the Manufacturing Tech is responsible for safely blending chemicals to strict QC specifications. The Manufacturing Tech is also responsible for the safe handling and storage of a variety of chemicals.  Additionally, the Manufacturing Tech is responsible with the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned work area and equipment. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

·     Safely blend chemicals to specific QC specifications.

·     Transport materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas using a forklift or hand truck.

·     Maintain Production Warehouse; ensure safe, neat and orderly use and storage of material.

·     Accurately locate material.

·     Notify supervisor of low inventory supply.

·     Notify supervisor of equipment and safety issues.

·     Periodically, take inventory of material, equipment and supplies in storage as assigned.

·     Assist with other warehouse and maintenance activities.

·     Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.
