Position Overview: As the Manufacturing Coordinator at Premier Metal Finishing, LLC you will play a crucial role in helping support daily order entry, tracking completion dates, communicating with customers, and coordinating with production floor. We are looking for someone with a great attitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and likes to be constantly challenged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Entry of sales orders.
- Track and communicate production schedule to customers and management.
- Estimate lead and production times.
- Assist ordering material from vendors and track delivery status.
- Assist in documenting policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Support and assist the management team as required.
Qualifications:
- Excellent computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with an ERP system.
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing blueprints with a strong aptitude for math.
- Prior order desk in a manufacturing environment experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills that convey a professional image.
- Knowledge of metals and material types and their differences.
- Ability to learn quickly and problem solve with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills and the ability to follow through.
- Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment.
