The Opportunity:

Our client, a leading aerospace and defense manufacturer specializing in electronic assemblies, seeks a talented PCBA Manufacturing Engineer to bridge PCBA design with advanced manufacturing processes. This role combines surface-mount technology expertise and practical implementation, ideal for engineers experienced in conformal coating, staking, component assembly, and manufacturing process development.

The successful candidate will spearhead PCBA operations, managing both automated and manual assembly processes. They will program and maintain advanced manufacturing equipment including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and conformal coating systems. They will develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, create specialized production tooling, and implement process controls to ensure consistent quality. Their expertise will be crucial in production yield optimization. They will collaborate across departments, from SMT operators to design engineers, quality teams to program managers, ensuring seamless production flow and technical problem resolution. This position represents an opportunity to drive advanced electronics manufacturing in the aerospace sector, working with cutting-edge technology.

The Reward:

$110,000 to $115,000 plus bonus, depending on experience, and excellent benefits. Relocation assistance is available.

The Requirements:

AS/BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience, with 5 or more years of experience in PCB Assembly, and IPC and J-STD specification knowledge. Must be familiar with SMT Equipment Setup, Operation, and Maintenance, and PCBA conformal coating and staking methods and equipment. Must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident.
