Job Description
We are searching for a professionally driven individual to work within Simtech’s fabrication department. We are willing to train the right candidate, however it is mandatory that you have fundamental skills in fabrication, working with tight measurements and tolerances. Must have proven experience in one or more of the following: plastic / metal fabrication, carpentry, trade apprenticeship and pipe fabrication. This individual should have experience with maintaining schedules. Background in plastics and experience working in small to medium fabrication shops is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assembly of parts.
- Ability to follow procedures for assembly and production methods.
- Ability to cut, drill and saw in accordance with specific measurements and instructions.
- Ability to check parts for tolerance compliance and quality standards.
- Verifying dimensions using measuring instruments (tape measures, rulers, framing and t squares, etc.).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma (required)
- 3-5 years of experience in related field..
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Compensation / Benefits
- 20.00 to 25.00 Per Hour – based on experience.
- Overtime available.
- Paid holidays annually - after 30 days of employment.
