Job Description
FUNCTION:
Under the direction of Department Lead, this position is aligned with all the production departments [Machining, Fabrication, Cleanroom, Coiling] supports the production process of high purity plastic techniques and project completion. The position is a hands-on role in the creation and development of client custom design products. Will use various coiling, machine shop, fabrication hand tools and technology advanced systems with precision to quality in ensuring products are applied the most accurate measurements as designed in blueprints, schematics, drawings, computer programming, etc. This position wears many hats and must be flexible to perform field service work for clients. Must be able to apply learned experience and grow to conform to a niche skill allowing for rotation, growth and development within FUSIONHPX.
Each level of the position will provide the growth and mobility of the individuals long term development and skilled learning from – deburring, machining (Lathe, Milling, Manual, CNC, etc.), coiling techniques, cleanroom environment protocol, plastic welding, field service work. Expected ability to provide training to less experienced personnel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs manual craft work from materials provided using a variety of shop tools and technical systems to complete with precision, accuracy, and defined measurements of clients or internally designed products.
2. Ensures all material worked on meet or exceed the quality and standards of FUSIONHPX high purity craftsmanship requirements with attention to detail in all work performed including systems to track time and throughput.
3. Applies a continuous improvement mind-set to ensure job orders, transfer-job traveler documents are clearly defined to accurately perform work.
4. Interfaces and collaborates with teammates from supporting departments on issues and concerns arising from design, material, tools, and technical systems.
5. Applies a questioning and performance attitude in ensuring highest quality of work has been performed before handing off completed work to next step in the process.
6. Maintains a clean working area to always ensure safety protocols and keeps tools sharpened and in calibrated status. Report immediately defective & unsafe tools, equipment and machinery; Sharpen or replace dull blades.
7. Maintains a flexible learning attitude and willingness to support and assist others in a professional and courteous manner. Applies a field service customer centric support mindset to clients demands and request.
8. Performs other duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· GED or HS Diploma
· Trade school completion in precision technology or manufacturing coursework
· 10+ years’ experience in plastic welding craftsmanship trade.
· Extensive applied working knowledge of measurements, blueprint reading, quality, and math skills expected.
· Bilingual Spanish or Russian a plus.
