Seeking to hire a Material Handler for our client in Salt Lake City, UT 84123.
Benefits and weekly pay available
19.00 per hour
12 hour rotating shift 630AM to 630PM
Looking for a Material Handler to support the production team by moving and organizing materials, pulling orders, and keeping inventory records up to date. This role involves operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring materials are accurately stocked, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities
Move and organize materials in production areas.
Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to transport items.
Pick and pull materials from the warehouse and update inventory records.
Check that parts, quantities, and locations match orders.
Return unused materials to the proper locations.
Move finished goods to storage areas.
Perform daily cycle counts and help with inventory reconciliation.
Ensure all labeling and documentation are accurate.
Follow safety rules and keep the work area clean.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience in a similar role preferred.
Forklift experience is required.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word.
Experience with Oracle or similar systems is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and follow instructions.
Must be available for 12 hour rotating shifts if needed.
Work Conditions
Clean room environment.
May require standing, sitting, or kneeling for long periods.
Must be able to lift objects up to 40 lbs.
Work near automated robots and heavy equipment.
