Midnight Pharmacy Data Entry Technician Job at Onecare LTC Pharmacy in Troy

OneCare LTC is a Long-Term care pharmacy specializing in providing medications to nursing homes, assisted living communities, and other Long-Term care communities.

**Training for this position will be during the day shift, once fully trained this position will be working the midnight shift**

Data Entry Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:

• Answer phone calls and resolve all customer requests and needs
• Enter new prescriptions
• Accurately calculate quantities of new orders to send based on requested amount or cycle dates
• Verify accurate input of all new orders and patient profiles
• Process refills
• Communicate directly with the pharmacist
• Print Medication Administration Records and Physician’s Orders
• Comply with all Michigan State rules and regulations.
• Communicate daily with billing specialists for any overrides and prior authorizations
• Communicate with the nursing facilities and doctor’s offices when needed

What You Will Bring:

Our ideal candidate will have 1 year of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:

• Pharmacy Technician experience (1 year preferred)
• Pharmacy Technician License (Preferred)
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred)
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have excellent customer service and phone etiquette
• Must work with both speed and accuracy
