Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will support the Arizona Roofing Contractors Association by handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This role involves managing the association's database, assisting with event planning, supporting membership recruitment and retention efforts, and enhancing the association’s social media presence. The Administrative Assistant will report to and work closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to fulfill the association's mission and objectives.

 

Work Schedule:

- Typical work week: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (flexibility may be granted)

- Duties will require attendance at meetings and events outside of normal hours

 

Professional Duties Include but are Not Limited to:

- Answering phone calls, fielding telephone inquiries, and directing visitors.

- Managing the association’s database (CiviCRM).

- Assisting the Executive Director with strategies set by the Board of Directors.

- Maintaining organized association files and documentation.

- Light QuickBooks entry

- Assisting with the Membership & Marketing committee.

- Managing social media platforms to enhance the association’s presence.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience with CRM/ASM programs and willingness to learn CiviCRM.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe programs.

- Knowledge of various social media platforms.

- Experience in non-profit and/or trade associations is a plus.

- Knowledge of HTML coding is a plus.

- Strong ethical conduct and commitment to the association’s mission.

- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

- Comfortable networking and socializing, with strong interpersonal skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Creative thinking and initiative.

- Highly organized and detail-oriented.

 

Requirements:

- Experience with customer management software.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe products.

- Excellent writing and editing skills.

- Customer service skills.

- Ability to think creatively and take initiative.

- Highly organized and detail-oriented.

 

Work Environment:

- Work is performed in a normal office setting, in private office space with a personal desk and computer.

- Travel and attendance are required for events.

- Mileage reimbursement for out of office travel
