Downtown Chicago law firm seeks an Administrative Assistant to support the IT team. Prior experience supporting a technology group highly preferred.

Base $80-90k

Hybrid role - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the department manager and team with calendar management, scheduling travel arrangements, expense reports, and record keeping
  • Prepare requisitions and process invoices
  • Assists with meeting preparation including agendas, logistics, compiling data etc.
  • Oversee conference room calendar, ensuring appropriate audio/visual equipment and any other materials made available if required
  • Coordinates office moves and facility related requests
  • Maintains department org chart and email distribution lists

Requirements:

  • BA degree and/or 5+ years of experience supporting a team of executives in legal, finance, accounting or other professional services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Self-starter who anticipates needs and has a sharp eye for detail
  • Demonstrates the ability to function with a high degree of initiative and ability to handle and discern the importance and urgency of multiple high priority tasks concurrently
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate and work collaboratively with all levels of management and staff
