As part of the GSRV Retail Team, you'll help bring the Girl Scout experience to life by providing resources, education, and products that inspire members and create a sense of belonging. If you're ready to be the friendly face that connects our community to everything Girl Scouts has to offer, we'd love to hear from you!

Why This Role Matters
As a Retail Associate, you'll:
  • Be the first point of contact for customers, creating a welcoming and engaging experience for everyone who visits our shops.
  • Connect families and volunteers to products that enrich their Girl Scout journey and recommend materials that enhance their experience.
  • Work within our on-site shops, assist at off-site events, and operate pop-up shops that bring the Girl Scout store to the community.

What You'll Do
  • Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming guests and sharing how our products support the Girl Scout mission.
  • Stay informed about product offerings and the Girl Scout experience to provide expert recommendations.
  • Process sales transactions and manage inventory with precision to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in creating fun and inviting displays that inspire girls and excite volunteers.
  • Travel to pop-up shop events, process pre-orders, set up and manage mobile retail spaces, and ensure merchandise and equipment security.

Inventory Management & Operations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to execute special orders.
  • Maintain a well-stocked and organized sales floor while addressing inventory shortages and customer requests.
  • Support accurate inventory counts and follow established processes for merchandise receipt, distribution, and sales.

Why You'll Love This Role
This part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in your community while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the council, create memorable customer experiences, and support a mission that inspires and empowers girls.
