We are seeking a Data Analyst to join one of our clients in Charlotte, NC. This is a full-time, onsite position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to impactful projects.
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: $50-55 Hourly
You will be responsible for improving AML processes, conducting peer reviews of reporting workflows, compiling, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, and identifying and addressing data inconsistencies to ensure accurate and effective compliance reporting.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years in a Data Management role or within AML/financial crimes systems and processes.
- SQL, Alteryx, and technical documentation expertise are essential to success in this role.
- Proven ability to perform detailed data analysis, peer-review workflows, and enhance reporting systems.
- Strong technical skills in relational databases, workflow automation, and data reconciliation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of data governance and management best practices.
Responsibilities:
- AML Population Management: Identify AML Due Date changes and replicate them in key systems, ensuring process consistency. Peer-review code and workflows developed by analysts to implement enhancements and generate new reporting in response to changing requirements.
- Documentation & Process Optimization: Create and maintain essential documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Data Mappings, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Identify and address inconsistencies in populations, definitions, and calculations across various reports, providing recommendations for enhancements or documenting acceptable variances.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Aggregate and analyze data from multiple platforms, performing reconciliations and supporting data integrity. Develop new reports or views to meet emerging requirements and business needs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to address inquiries and provide updates on reporting changes or status.
