About the Role

The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President of Technical Accounting to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in providing accounting support for a variety of transactions, with a focus on being the lead representative in the due diligence process. This role requires a deep understanding of deal structures, and the ability to partner with stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive grasp of complex transactions. The candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to the company's core values, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be adept at technical accounting research, particularly under U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, a CPA certification, and at least 10 years' of experience in accounting or public accounting. Experience in financial due diligence, SEC reporting, and knowledge of financial ERP/reporting systems, particularly Hyperion, is preferred. Key responsibilities for the Associate Vice President of Technical Accounting include advising on the structuring of transactions, leading purchase accounting, and collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate accounting and disclosure of transactions. The role also involves overseeing the monthly Development and Asset Management Committee process, preparing presentations for executive leadership, and working with external auditors on technical accounting conclusions and valuations.
