Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Mid-Level Business Analyst
to join our team in
Oak-brook Terrace, IL.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities: Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
Review and assess current business processes and workflows for improvement opportunities.
Develop and maintain detailed business process models and documentation.
Collaborate with IT teams to create functional and technical specifications for system enhancements or new solutions.
Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit requirements and provide project updates to stakeholders.
Identify and document project risks, issues, and opportunities for resolution.
Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize requirements, define project scope, and align with business goals.
Assist in the development and testing of new systems or system enhancements.
Provide user training and post-implementation support to ensure smooth transitions.
Participate in the evaluation and selection of software or systems that align with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
Proven experience with business process analysis and documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Proficient in developing functional and technical specifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to facilitate meetings and drive consensus among teams.
Familiarity with project management principles and tools is a plus.
Experience in supporting system development, implementation, and testing phases.
Additional Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of industry-standard business analysis frameworks and methodologies (e.g., BABOK).
Experience with workflow management tools or process modeling software.
Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
