We are looking for a highly skilled Techno Functional Business System Analyst (BSA) to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management/administration and development/support of the company’s CRM system (Salesforce) as well as its integration with the patent module, third party apps/tools and .NET accounting systems. This role will work closely with members of Via LA’s Contract and Patent Admin group as well as Legal, Sales, Program Management, Accounting and Compliance teams. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of Salesforce translating business requirements into the proper design as well as industry experience in dealing with internal business users. The BSA will collaborate closely with various cross-functional teams to ensure system efficiency, compliance, and alignment with business objectives. This hybrid role requires to work on-site at the Greenwood Village office three days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering:
- Elicit and document business requirements for Salesforce, integration, and automation projects.
- Research and recommend new applications, tools, and vendors.
Salesforce Management and Development:
- Design and document detailed functional specifications for configurations, customizations, and integrations for Salesforce.
- Manage Salesforce AppExchange applications (Conga, Docusign, X-Author, Composer, Zenkraft, Quip).
- Create and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision-making.
Project Management:
- Manage projects involving business systems implementations, upgrades, and process improvements
- Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables
- Monitor project progress, track milestones and communicate effectively to stakeholders
- Adapt to different PMLC methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid) and provide guidance to the team
- Assist senior management with various tasks related to project/program management.
- Effectively communicate project challenges and solutions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with other business units and IT developers.
- Develop training materials and deliver training and guidance to business end-users.
IT Audit and Compliance:
- Collaborate with IT Security and Internal Audit teams to support audit processes and walkthroughs.
- Comply with change management policies to ensure data integrity and system stability.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SFDC administration, development, and AppExchange.
- Experience in Salesforce programing languages (Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, RestAPIs) is a plus.
- Demonstrate project management skills along with experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with email campaign tools (within SFDC) considered a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
The Denver Area base salary range for this full-time position is $78,000 - $94,000 and can vary if outside of this location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
