We are honored to have been selected by a manufacturing facility to support their search for a Production Supervisor!  Qualified candidates for this position will supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in the construction of factory built housing within a manufacturing plant. Below are more details for this exciting role!

Job Title: Manufacturing Production Supervisor 
Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire
Shift: Days
Pay: $80,000-100,000

Essential Duties:

  • Examines blueprints to determine dimensions of structure.
  • Studies production schedules and assigns employees as required to meet production schedules.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
  • Calculates time card totals and production records.
  • Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.
  • Sets up machines and equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises employees in the plant. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
  • Strong in building relationships and able to communicate at all levels
  • Effective planning and scheduling
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Prior experience at improving production
  • Ability to read blueprints
