Location: Tampa Office Duties And Responsibilities: This Position will support the strategies and day to day activities of the Aluminum Sourcing Manager and Director for North America (US & Canada). Supply Chain Coordination: Support the end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, production planning and logistics. Work with internal teams; sourcing, manufacturing plants, planning, operations, quality and finance to gather requirements, understand needs, report status and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies. Support in documenting business requirements & demand forecasting and translation into a supply plan. Contribute to the optimization of supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and improving service levels. Inventory Management: Maintain and deploy inventory control procedures. Monitor and analyze inventory data to forecast demand and adjust inventory strategies accordingly. Support implementation of optimal stock levels to reduce risk of disruption while optimizing working capital costs. Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply of materials. Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods, coordinate responses and follow up on outstanding issues to ensure timely resolution. Identify potential risks in the supply chain, such as disruptions, delays or quality issues, and help develop mitigation strategies. Logistics: Coordinate with supplier logistics partners and Crown internal logistics to propose strategies to optimize shipping routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times. Resolve any logistical challenges or disruptions to minimize impact on operations. Process Improvement: Assist in various sourcing projects and initiatives, including cost analysis, supplier evaluations, and market research. Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities within the sourcing and procurement functions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Compliance, Systems and Reporting: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Aluminum team. Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in procurement systems, including supplier information, specifications, part, purchase orders, and sourcing documents, including assistance for EDI errors resolution. Support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate records and documentation of sourcing activities. Generate routine reports on sourcing activities, including supplier performance, contract status, and compliance metrics. Qualifications: In addition to the qualifications and experience listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following: Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or a related field preferred. 2-4 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations. Experience in managing inventory, logistics, or supplier relationships is preferred. Competencies Proactive approach, willing to take initiative and contribute to any task, every day.
