Job Summary
The Warehouse Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling and coordinating order deliveries by contacting customers via phone and email.
Using Excel reports and internal scheduling systems, this role involves verifying orders, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring efficient order scheduling.
The ideal candidate will bring strong customer service skills, experience in a call center or transportation/logistics, and proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers by phone and email to schedule available orders, ensuring timely coordination and communication.
- Use Excel reports and internal systems to monitor, update, and track orders, addressing any discrepancies with scheduled and non-scheduled orders.
- Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating great phone etiquette and effective communication skills.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to resolve scheduling conflicts and enhance order accuracy.
- Manage time efficiently, maintaining accurate records and following up on customer inquiries and order statuses.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably within a call center, transportation, or logistics setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail with excellent follow-up abilities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in transportation or logistics is a plus.
