Responsibilities
Maintain standard cost of raw materials, packaging, labor and finished goods
Review standard and actual cost variances, provide report to management
Analyze and review profit margins by category, plant and product line
Carry out variance analysis such as purchase price variance to cost variance, cost revaluation, invoice to purchase order variances
Prepare and complete internal cost audits
Determine estimates of new and proposed product costs
Generate reports comparing production costs to standard costs and analyze manufacturing variances
Monitor cycle count programs and conduct physical inventories working with the production plants
Create, maintain and provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products
Manage the implementation and maintenance of a standard costing methodology
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required, MBA preferred
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience required including 5 years in a cost accounting role
Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills
Strong financial modeling skills, along with strong understanding of pricing standards and variance analysis
Solid computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel and working with ERP/Financial System
Salary and Benefits
Salary range is $110,000 to $130,000
Work a hybrid schedule based from their Canton office
