Senior AccountantOur Client is a thriving mid-size manufacturing company in the near OHare! They are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to handle a diverse range of responsibilities and be a key player in our finance department.

Accounting Supervisor Responsibilities include:

Executing month-end accrual entries, ensuring accurate subledger and general ledger management

Managing accounts payable processes, including ACH payments and expense reporting

Handling manual payroll postings, cost entries, cash applications, and check clearings

Posting occasional journal entries for projects to relevant GL accounts

Translating payroll figures into journal entry numbers

Facilitating data imports and utilizing V and H-lookups

Ad Hoc projects as assigned

Experience Required for the Accounting Supervisor:

BS in Accounting or Finance

Strong GAAP knowledge

3+ years accounting experience preferably with Construction, Engineering, or Manufacturing

CPA or tracking would be a plus

Full Cycle Close experience

Large ERP system experience preferred
