Part Time AP Accountant
Schedule:
8-10 hours/week. Possibly up to 12 hours/week.
Tuesdays & Thursdays:
Ideally, Tuesday: 9:30am - 4:30pm then if additional work is needed also go in on Thursday.
Also open to someone working (4-5 hours/day) on Tuesday & Thursday
Responsibilities:
Part Time AP Accountant will be responsible for monthly schedules making sure everything is tied out and listed properly including - prepaid expenses, AP, working on accrued expenses, deferred revenue for events including convention ticket sales, any office lease expense and legal expenses. (AP volume varies weekly: some weeks 8 checks and some 12-15 checks/week)
Part Time AP Accountant will make sure all expenses in Concur are reviewed and the proper support is attached, before entered into Sage.
Part Time AP Accountant will complete accounting tasks related to AP
Requirements:
2+ years of overall accounting experience required for Part Time AP Accountant role
Previous nonprofit accounting experience is a MUST for Part Time AP Accountant role
Previous Sage Intacct experience is a plus but NOT required
Degree is a plus but NOT required as long as employee understands the work and can get it done accurately
Excel - basic to intermediate skills including basic schedules, list and details
Personality Fit:
Someone who is open to learning and following processes
Able to jump in and begin contributing
Must be able to understand the AP process
Flexible to take on additional tasks and projects, as needed
