Radiant Power is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our Sales and Business Development team.This position is located in Sarasota, FL and is full-time, Monday - Thursday. This is not a work from home position.Radiant Power Corp. delivers the highest levels of quality and reliability from our full range of aerospace products. We also offer a generous annual bonus.This position requires use of information or access to hardware, which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.This position will manage sales activities for specific accounts and product lines.GENERAL DUTIES:Work cooperatively with Sales Managers, outside Sales Reps, and other team members to develop and manage existing customer base, creating customer relationships, and actively participate in new account development with the goal increasing customer satisfaction.Interface with customers providing consistently excellent customer service by responding to all incoming customer inquiries regarding sales order expedites and requests for pricing and product availability through the quoting process in a timely mannerContact vendors and/or suppliers for updated costing and lead time to facilitate the quoting processProcess quotes in our ERP system in accordance with procedure and policyReview and manage open sales orders interacting with accounting, quality and the warehouse to insure timely release and on time delivery of customer shipmentsExpedite purchase orders with suppliers and vendors for parts relating to sales orders communicating order status updates to the customersResponding to customer requests for quotes on special order items acting as a liaison between customer and new business development groupManage quote to order process through tracking and following up on open quotesPerform "Gap Analysis" on existing accounts to identify opportunities to increase sales and presenting those opportunities to the customer and secure the saleWork with Product Managers and customers to "sell off" reserved inventoryRun daily/weekly/monthly or as needed reports through ASAC reporting systemSetup and maintain customer accounts updating system notes to insure customer requirements are metResolve customer problems in a timely mannerCoordinate customer requests for returns and creditsJOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree in Business or Marketing preferred.3-7 years experience in aerospace product-related sales and marketing with direct OEM and Tier 2 sales experienceInside and field sales experience with aerospace, defense primes and suppliers, or commercial marine.Familiarity with aerospace distribution, MRO, and aftermarket support sales models.Solid technical acumen.Strong relationship and customer development skills.Ability to identify customer needs and create a solution within company capabilities.Demonstrated track record of producing sales results in an aerospace manufacturing environment.Excellent communication and presentation skills.High energy level, comfortable with multi-tasking.Must be well-organized, flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment.MS Office Suite including; Outlook, Excel, Access, and MSWord.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.Read/Write Fluently in EnglishSustained dependable attendance.Cooperation with others in team environment for cross training and conference on operational issues.Initiative in learning and changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks on a timely basis.PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:Position located in an office environment, with exposure to the manufacturing floor when needed. Domestic business related travel, valid driver's license required.Regularly required to walk up and down stairs.Regularly required walk and reach with hands and arms.Regularly required to talk or hear.
