Certified Medical Assistant - Ingersoll Family Medicine Des Moines, Iowa Shifts: M-T-W-Fr 7:00-5:30 / Thursday OFF **$5000.00 Sign-on Bonus for External Candidates. Responsibilities

Ingersoll Family Medicine is seeking a patient-focused

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

to join their healthcare team. In this role, you will play a vital role in assisting healthcare providers with patient care, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. If you have a passion for providing excellent care to patients across all age groups, we encourage you to apply and join our Team! Room patients and obtain vital signs. Assist provider with patient examination, treatment and minor surgical procedures. May perform specimen collection, phlebotomy and specimen analysis. Medication and/or vaccine administration. Care Coordination via medication refills, prior authorizations and referral scheduling. Test result management and tracking as determined by provider. Return patient calls and inquiries via phone or patient portal.

Qualifications

Current Certification as a Medical Assistant. High school diploma. BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification. Knowledge of clinical skill techniques, procedures, medical diagnoses, and treatments.
