Primary Objective:
Provide overall strategic information technology leadership, continuously assess company-wide technology, and implement solutions that effectively meet company business needs. Provide strategic leadership and direction to a team of IT professionals in support of business functionality, including short term and long-term strategic business objectives.
Essential Job Functions: Develop and implement strategic roadmap to continuously deliver solutions that effectively meet company business needs. Translate long-range strategic objectives and roadmap into executable near-term actions including budgets, resource plans, milestones, tracking metrics, and success measures. Lead and create a highly engaged and high performing IT team. Provide technical leadership, oversight, and support for the company's enterprise business applications- (e.g. ERP, CRM, QMS, PLM, HRIS, Power BI) Advance knowledge and skills in emerging technologies and make recommendations as to their use to address organizational strategy. Effectively collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders to identify and deliver optimal solutions, business reporting, business intelligence, and data warehousing to accelerate data driven decision-making. Analyze and update current technology systems/structures to ensure operational effectiveness, business continuity, and regulatory compliance. Allocate resources and investments, including capital budgeting, in accordance with the company's Annual Operating Planning process. Manage relationships with vendors and consultants for sales, service and support of all IT systems and applications. Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision. Responsible for oversight of the IT cyber security program and evolutions in conjunction with the NIST framework. Own IT disaster recovery plan in conjunction with the business continuity plan. Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT/IS Services or other relevant discipline 10+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years experience in Senior Leadership role. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Execution- Results driven with proficiency in leading and motivating teams to achieve stated objectives. Collaboration - Effectively work cross-functionally to deliver results. Project Management- Ability to successfully manage complex projects and deliver technical solutions within projected scope, timeframe and budget. Communications- Ability to build relationships, influence and persuade across all levels of the organization as well as with vendors and customers, exercising a high degree of tact and diplomacy to accomplish objectives. Presentation skills- Ability to clearly present recommendations and ideas and to summarize complex issues for non-technical individuals. Extensive knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, and data storage systems. Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and resourcing strategies for on-premises and Azure cloud services. Customer-focused with the ability to display positive attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Flexible hours to ensure 24/7 service of core applications/systems. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in medical devices and/or high-tech manufacturing environment. Experience with business intelligence and data warehouse design. Experience with e-commerce and cloud-based applications. Application development and software implementation management experience. Physical Requirements:
