Job Responsibilities The Product Specialist is an expert for the assigned products (construction and forestry) and is responsible for developing sales and marketing activities (demos, presentations, product education) and ensuring all product related information is communicated to the appropriate channels. Key performance objectives in order of priority include: •Drive product awareness and sales. •Acts as a resource of product information for the sales team, dealers and customers. •Monitors and reports products performance to ensure alignment with company priorities. •Develops business growth opportunities and lead implementation to meet company growth objectives. •Serves as the primary product expert to assist sales team, marketing team, customers and dealers with product, technical and/or application questions; generates enthusiasm among sales team, trains and coaches sales and marketing teams on becoming product experts. Trains service staff on product value and specifications. •Collaborates with the Product Manager by providing updates, reports, product specification changes. •Helps with the prospecting and sales processes to turn sales leads into opportunities; makes presentations and conducts demonstrations internally and externally. Helps making sales calls and closes deals as needed. •Fosters and promotes professional, ethical, and positive interactions with current and potential customers and the construction equipment community, through application of meticulous standards and attention to details. •Encourages and seeks opportunities for collaborative efforts. •Participates in trade shows as needed, and collaborates with industry influencers to enhance and share knowledge. •Serves as voice of customers with FAE USA reporting productive and constructive information

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Operational Responsibilities •Coordinates, manages and executes strategies in all aspects of product life cycle management including product creation & development, information, and data pertaining to go-to-market processes. Establishes key performance measures associated with the product and with sales. •Build and implement the FAE educational program for educational purposes internally and externally as well as any product training presentation. •Conducts competitive analysis and assists in developing strategies to drive product success including market position and product quality. •Provides feedback to management concerning product value, sustainability, and makes recommendations to introduce new products, make changes to existing items, or withdraw products from the market. •Collaborate to grow the data base with the sales department.
