Job Title: Back Office Medical Assistant Floater in the Port St. Lucie area!
Job Description
The Floater will perform quality team-based patient care under the direct supervision of a clinician for both clinical and administrative functions to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment. This role supports clinician and care management teams in assessing, maintaining chronic disease management, examining, and treating patient population. The medical assistant floater is responsible for performing all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. This floating employee will be working in various offices to support in either the MA role or dedicated lab. Responsibilities Perform quality team-based patient care under clinician supervision. Support clinician and care management teams in chronic disease management, patient examination, and treatment. Perform all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. Float between various offices as needed to support medical assistant or lab roles.
