Position Summary: The Information Services department is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a part-time IT/Tech Help Desk Associate. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. The person in this position will support the Director of Technology with various IT tasks, including help desk ticket resolution, hardware reformatting, IT storage management, and audiovisual (AV) support.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in clearing IT help desk tickets by troubleshooting and resolving common issues. Reformat and prepare hardware (laptops, desktops, Chromebooks) for new and returning users. Set up and manage AV equipment for events, including projectors, speakers, and Promethean boards. Organize and maintain IT storage areas, ensuring equipment is stored securely and inventory is updated. Collaborate with the IT team on additional tech-related tasks and projects as needed. Provide excellent customer service to internal staff and students, addressing technology questions and concerns professionally. Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of IT support, including hardware troubleshooting and software reinstallation. Experience with Google Workspace (G Suite) and Chromebook management. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and macOS environments. Ability to follow instructions for device setup and reformatting procedures. Experience with audiovisual (AV) setups and equipment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach. Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in an IT or tech support role. Experience with help desk ticketing systems or software. Position Details:
