Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced
Salesforce Project Manager
to oversee the successful delivery of Salesforce implementation projects, from initiation through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Salesforce-related projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. As a Salesforce Project Manager, you will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to drive the successful adoption and optimization of Salesforce solutions. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution:
Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for Salesforce implementations, including planning, scoping, resource management, timeline development, and execution. Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with business leaders, functional teams, and technical experts to define project goals, deliverables, and timelines. Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication and issues. Scope & Requirements Management:
Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document project requirements, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions. Manage project scope to prevent scope creep and ensure timely delivery. Team Coordination:
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including Salesforce developers, architects, business analysts, and QA testers. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Risk Management:
Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables. Ensure that project risks are communicated effectively to stakeholders. Agile Methodology:
Lead Agile project management processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Maintain a detailed project schedule and ensure that all project milestones are achieved. Quality Assurance:
Ensure that quality assurance processes are followed and that the final Salesforce solution meets the specified requirements and business objectives. Budget & Resource Management:
Manage project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and that the project stays within budget. Track and report on project costs and time. Change Management:
Drive user adoption by working with change management teams to ensure smooth transitions and successful Salesforce implementations. Assist with training and post-implementation support. Reporting & Documentation:
Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and budget reviews. Maintain project documentation and ensure all deliverables are properly archived. Experience: 5+ years of experience managing Salesforce implementation projects, preferably in a variety of Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.). Proven track record of successfully managing medium-to-large Salesforce projects from start to finish, including complex integrations and customizations. Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations, with a solid grasp of CRM best practices. Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello, etc.). Experience in resource and budget management, with a focus on achieving project goals within scope and financial constraints. Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to quickly address and resolve issues or obstacles that may arise during the project lifecycle. Detail-oriented and able to track the progress of tasks, dependencies, and timelines accurately. Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners/vendors. Knowledge of Salesforce development, customization, and integration processes is highly preferred.
