Manager's Job Description:
The manager is looking for someone who enjoys active work and working in a team setting. This role will consist of unboxing machines, assembling equipment after uncrating, unloading and loading semi-truck (manually, no forklift), quality checking paperwork for accuracy, and hand wrapping equipment. There is extensive lifting standing and walking involved. Anything over 50 lbs. will have assistance made available. This is a manual labor with lifting, bending and twisting. Manager is looking for someone with manual dexterity and with exp in a warehouse. Seeking candidates that are reliable and work well with others but can also work alone; Someone who is proactive and will not always need direction or refuse to assist others. Worksite is Ricoh at 2499 Newpoint Pkwy Suite 100 and 200, Lawrenceville, GA 30043 and parking is available free, validated and or reimbursed. The position involves performing various warehousing tasks in a labor-intensive environment. Tasks require efficiency, adherence to OSHA regulations, and the ability to handle multiple product types.
Responsibilities Complete assigned tasks, including shipping, receiving, stocking, order pulling, material handling, and loading/unloading trucks. Operate powered and non-powered material handling equipment (training provided if required). Maintain cleanliness and tidiness standards in the warehouse. Process and complete all required paperwork. Work at a rapid pace to meet deadlines and productivity/quality standards. Coordinate with team members to achieve departmental and operational goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
Ability to learn and perform various warehouse functions and processes. Physically capable of working in a labor-intensive environment. Willingness to comply with OSHA regulations (training provided). Ability to handle equipment of varying values. Effective teamwork and coordination skills. Availability to start immediately for the specified contract duration.
