Position Overview
As an
IT Support Technician
at CEC, you'll deliver professional, courteous customer service and technical support to our team members, both onsite and remotely. You'll play a vital role in resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring a smooth and productive experience for our corporate users.
What You'll Do: Provide friendly, efficient phone and desk-side support for technical issues involving computers, software, peripherals, and networks. Manage user access, including password resets and permissions, to ensure secure and easy access to company resources. Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting desktop hardware, software, and printer issues. Develop expertise in our business applications, providing first-level support to a diverse user base across the company. Install, upgrade, and relocate workstations, printers, and other devices to support our growing operations. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve a range of desktop and network issues, escalating when necessary. Document activities and solutions in our tracking system for accurate and efficient resolution. Qualifications
Education and Experience
Associate's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. 2-4 years of experience performing level one help desk support working as part of a corporate help desk/IT team. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Basic Technical Certification (A+, networking, MCP, etc.) Keen interest and ability to learn new software and hardware Advanced knowledge of desktop computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office - experience with a variety of platforms and systems including, MS Windows 10 and Citrix. Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with co-workers at every level of management. Present a professional image as a representative of the Company. Enforce Information Technology company policies and procedures for all employees. Problem Solving/Analysis Technical Capacity Communication Proficiency Time Management Work Environment

Must be able to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required and night or weekend shifts, as needed.
