Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the production floor, ensuring processes are running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while meeting customer demand. Supervise, train, and motivate production teams to achieve performance goals, meet quality standards, and ensure safety compliance. Ensure that all products meet established quality standards, utilizing quality control processes, testing, and inspections. Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and increase efficiency in metal manufacturing processes (such as welding, casting, machining, and fabrication). Oversee the proper utilization of materials, labor, and equipment to maximize production output while minimizing downtime and costs. Ensure that the team adheres to all safety protocols and environmental regulations. Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Resolve production issues swiftly to minimize downtime and prevent delays in production schedules. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods, working with procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels. Manage production budgets and costs, ensuring production stays within allocated financial resources and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
The essential functions of this role include: wearing steel toe shoes manual lifting up to 50lbs
