Locum Anesthesiologist New York Details: Location: New York - Finger Lakes Region Duration: April ongoing Locum coverage 3-4 months (option to extend) Schedule: Full-time preferred, 2-4 weeks per month Shift: Monday Friday, 10 hr. preferred (may consider 8 or 12 hr. shifts) + Required call Weeknight call: 7p-7a, depending on schedule that day. Call 1:4-1:6 Weekend call: Fri 7p-Sat 7a, Sat-Sun 7a-7a, 24 hr. call shifts 1st call: On-site - Provider does not leave hospital until all epidurals are removed. 2nd call: Not onsite. Low call volume on weekends Scope: General Anesthesia, OB, Epidurals, routine regional blocks Patient volume: Day shifts average 5-7 per day EMR: Meditech Hospital: Acute Care Hospital, Non Trauma, 193 beds. 5-7 open OR s. Group: 1-2 Anes MD/DO. CRNAs available to assist. Locum MD/DO not responsible for overseeing CRNA s.
