Systems Administrator (Intermediate and Senior Level)
to join our team in support of the US Army's Network Enterprise Center at Fort Knox, KY. Must be a US Citizen Secret Clearance required Non-remote (relocation incentive available) As a
Systems Administrator,
you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining computer networks to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Government information assets. This will include support for network design, security management, advanced troubleshooting, and ensuring overall network performance and compliance with Army standards.

Intermediate Level Responsibilities:
Install, administer, support, and maintain server hardware, peripherals, software, and operating systems. Support Active Directory Management; Systems Center Management; Messaging Management; Clustering Services; Backup and Restoration. Create, update, and maintain SOPs and knowledge management solutions for continuity and training Provide Tier II-III system/desktop support. Assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans. Manage data backups of servers and equipment configurations per recovery guidelines. Implement patch remediation on systems to ensure network security and compliance with Cybersecurity guidelines and regulations. Create, update, and maintain databases required for mission-related functions. Support migration efforts to cloud-based environments including integration of new technologies, decommissioning of existing hardware, and documentation. Senior Level Responsibilities:
All Intermediate responsibilities. Provide daily supervision and direction to personnel across the Network Team. Provide training and mentorship to technicians, helping them develop their skills and knowledge. Manage, coordinate, and track work across the Network Team. Maintain overall responsibility for the System delivery team. Troubleshoot systems connectivity problems, including monitoring the network and servers for problems, diagnosing problems, and taking the appropriate corrective measures to ensure an expedient resolution. Install, administer, support, and maintain server hardware, peripherals, software, and operating systems. Collect and review network utilization data for capacity and planning purposes. Assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans. Interface with vendors for procurement & maintenance of all IT infrastructures. Support the development and delivery of training sessions to ensure staff understand network resources. Qualifications
US Citizen. Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.). Baseline Certification is required within 6 months of hire. Intermediate Level:
Four (4+) years of IT experience, preferably within a Help/Service Desk environment. Experience with Juniper, Cisco, and Aruba networking equipment. Senior Level:
Eight (8+) years of IT experience, preferably within a Help/Service Desk environment. Three (3+) years of experience providing daily supervision and direction to personnel across the Network teams. Preferred:
Active Secret Clearance. BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. IAT Level III Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, etc.). Knowledge of Windows servers, including Windows PowerShell, Active Directory, and GPO. Working knowledge of virtualized environments (VMWare, Linux, etc.) Windows Server 2012 (or higher) Operating System Certification. Familiar with network vulnerability scanners (e.g. Retina, ACAS, Nessus). Migration of systems and services to a cloud environment. Cloud administrator support experience. Application support experience. Experience providing quality service and support for mission-critical systems and VIP end users. Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. Problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems. Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Additional Information
This position is contingent upon the successful acquisition of the government contract and the completion of ongoing negotiations. We anticipate these processes will be completed within the next several weeks, at which time interviews and offers will be extended upon successful contract award.
