Material Handler - Pay $18-21/hr

**Hiring for Material Handler in Dayton, MN, US, Pay $18-21/hr****Job Description**As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating a Stand up forklift (Crown Brand) to manage products weighing up to 2000lbs. You will spend approximately 75% or more of your day on the forklift, frequently getting on and off to pull, pick, and stage products. You will prepare orders for shipment using computer-generated work orders, check products, and load them into semi-trailers for shipment. Additionally, you will ensure that products meet quality specifications and perform safety checks on various warehouse equipment, including stand-up forklifts, man-up, and order pickers.**Responsibilities**+ Operate Stand up forklift (Crown Brand) to handle products weighing up to 2000lbs.+ Spend 75-90% of the time on the forklift, frequently getting on and off to adjust, push, and pull pallets.+ Prepare orders for shipment using computer-generated work orders.+ Check products and load them into semi-trailers for shipment.+ Ensure that products and shipments meet quality specifications.+ Perform safety checks on various warehouse equipment including stand-up forklifts, man-up, and order pickers.**Essential Skills**+ 6+ months of recent experience operating a Stand up Forklift (Preferably Crown Brand, but not required)+ Comfortable reading and writing work reports to pick and pull orders+ Comfortable working on computers+ Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and standing on their feet all day in steel toes**Additional Skills & Qualifications**+ Experience with material handling, order picking, shipping, stocking, and warehouse operations+ Experience using pallet jacks and order pickers**Why Work Here?**We offer a clean manufacturing environment and provide tuition reimbursement. The Distribution center is 248,489 square feet and recently moved into its own building separate from the Manufacturing area. The work hours are on the 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday to Friday, with up to 2 hours of overtime after the shift.
