Girl Scouts San Diego is hiring: Recruiter (Temporary) in San Diego

Every summer campers arrive at Girl Scouts San Diego summer camps excited for new adventures, fun, and making lifelong memories. More than 150 summer camp staff play a vital role in creating a positive camp experience for campers at our day and overnight camps.

As a member of the seasonal staffing team, the temporary Recruiter will provide high-volume full-cycle recruiting for seasonal summer camp staff. This is a temporary position is expected to last up to June 2025.

The Recruiter will have responsibility for:

• Developing and executing a recruiting and sourcing strategy to attract a pipeline of quality candidates for temporary summer camp positions.
• Utilizing a variety of recruiting methods including job boards, recruiting events, social media, and networking to maximize candidate sourcing.
• Conducting candidate phone screens, recommending candidates for interview, and coordinating interview schedules.
• Updating and maintaining accurate applicant data and status in ATS system (ATS OnDemand).
• Extending and coordinating offers and background checks with final candidates.
• Performing other duties as assigned or required.

• One or more years of sourcing/recruiting experience; high-volume seasonal recruiting experience is highly desired
• Organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy; excellent follow-through and time management skills
• High degree of responsibility and ownership of work/assignments; must be dependable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency and deliver results
• Exceptional communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
• Experience and proficiency working with an ATS system; proficiency in Word and Excel
• An understanding of federal, state and local employment laws preferred
• Valid drivers license and ability to drive and attend recruitment events and/or meetings.

Expected hiring range: $21-$26 per hour.

This temporary position is based at our Balboa campus.
