This role is in office Monday to Friday.
The Role:
The individuals that make up the Strategic Partnership Team work in a collaborative manner to ensure delivery of the highest level of service to wealth management clients. The successful candidate will support the team in both fundraising and relationship management, assisting with partner management across multiple top client accounts within the regional and independent broker/dealer channel. The role requires the candidate to develop an understanding of Blue Owl's investment strategy and products, with occasional travel and communication with strategic relationships.
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing relationships with private wealth platforms and developing relationships at various levels. Maintain a working knowledge of firms' platforms, manager evaluation processes, firm initiatives, and investment trends. Develop a financial and structural understanding of the Blue Owl's products. Support the education of advisory teams and stakeholders on Blue Owl's alternative investment strategies and products. Assist in developing and executing strategic marketing plans, identifying opportunities, and measuring results. Respond to internal and external requests with a client service mind-set and a strong sense of urgency. Qualifications:
Some experience in alternative investment management, ideally focused on credit products including private debt and/or private equity. At least 3 years of experience. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to quickly understand and articulate Blue Owl's investment strategy, differentiating factors and competitive advantage. Highly motivated with the ability to work independently, set priorities, multitask, and meet deadlines and fundraising goals. Ability to work in a team-oriented sales environment in which sharing information and collaboration is essential for success. Ability to travel. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education required Series 7 and 66 or equivalent preferred but not required.
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be 100,000 to 125,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
