We are looking for a Administrative Assocate to join our Catalyst team in McIntyre, GA.

BASFs Catalysts division is the global market leader in catalyst technologies. The division develops and produces mobile emissions catalysts as well as process catalysts and offers precious metals trading, recycling and related products and services.

As the Administrative Associate you will perform various clerical duties supporting the Manufacturing Manager and the Leadership Team. In addition, this position will aid operations through entry of data into SAP, development of the weekly production schedule, and other office duties as needed. This position will inventory and purchase office supplies. This position will also administer skills aptitude tests and collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition to effectively onboard new employees. The Administrative Associate will oversee daily office operations and support the smooth functioning of the BASF McIntyre, GA office.

**During your 8-hour shift as a Administrative Associate, you will**

+ Create purchase requisitions and orders in SAP and processing invoices for purchase requisitions as either service entries or goods receipts.

+ Ensure schedules and time keeping are accurate and assisting supervisors with payroll as needed.

+ Create and maintain on-call schedule for Maintenance and Production and maintaining vacation schedules.

+ Be the point of contact for vendor inquiries and inter-office questions. Additionally, ordering office supplies and cleaning supplies and maintaining the budget for those items.

+ Assist with month-end closing as needed.

+ Monitor and communicate on MOCs/Action Items that are due at the end of each month.

+ Coordinate business lunches, gatherings, and all employee related meals.

+ Schedule safety training and maintaining site training matrix.

+ Maintain records for all employees and keeping them in audit ready condition.

+ Ensure electronic display boards and bulletin boards are current with regulatory postings and company announcements.

**If you...**

+ High school graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ 2-4 years of experience in a clerical environment capable of handling multiple tasks at one time.

+ Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed environment and be highly organized.

+ Proficient in MS Office applications and possess general computer knowledge.

+ Ability to effectively communicate with hourly and salary employees in addition to vendors.
