POSITION TITLE: Marketing & Administrative Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
DIRECT REPORTS: None
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt; regular full-time; employment-at-will position.
SCHEDULE: The work schedule will generally conform to that of a full-time Monday-Friday 40-hour-per-week schedule to be performed within the Center’s hours of operation.
PURPOSE: The Administrative & Marketing Coordinator will provide essential support to the Director of Operations and assist in coordinating marketing efforts to enhance brand presence, internal communications, and community engagement. This role will be integral in promoting the organization’s mission, fostering internal culture, and maintaining a positive public image.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide administrative support to the Operations and Executive Leadership Teams.
- Schedule meetings, manage correspondence, and handle general office duties.
- Support office operations by managing supplies, coordinating with vendors and assisting with documentation and filing.
- Oversee and execute marketing activities, including social media management, content creation, and brand development.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, assist in developing marketing materials, and support community relations initiatives.
- Track analytics to measure and optimize marketing effectiveness and stay informed about industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Draft and distribute internal newsletters, updates, and announcements.
- Assist in organizing company events, including team-building activities, training sessions, and social events.
- Coordinate logistics, materials, and communication for events, ensuring smooth execution and positive participant experiences.
- Assist in planning and promoting wellness and social activities across the organization through active participation in the Health & Wellness Committee and Social Committee.
- Represent the organization at community events, assisting with event setup, promoting organizational initiatives, and engaging with the community.
- Coordinate the creation of digital marketing material, including the development of company brochures, business cards, career fair and community event materials and other promotional activities.
- Manage and curate content for social media platforms, website development, and employee portals such as our training and employee platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure marketing efforts align with organizational goals.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing coordination, administrative support, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, content creation, and basic graphic design.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools and marketing analytics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
- Proven experience in marketing roles with a strong understanding of digital and virtual marketing channels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in all realms of communication tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, comfortable working independently, and being a self-starter.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and effectively manage time in alignment with agency needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences and build positive relationships.
- Proficient in the English Language.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Remaining stationery, such as standing or sitting, for prolonged periods.
- Frequently moving from one worksite to another to accomplish tasks.
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 10 pounds in any direction.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, or fingers.

- Withstanding outdoor elements such as temperature, participation, and wind.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The environment is a typical office environment. While on location, work is generally performed indoors with ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment.

SALARY RANGE FOR THIS POSITION: Salary commensurate with experience and Kanza MHGC salary structure.
