Join a high-performing team dedicated to providing critical care to patients in a dynamic Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Nashville. You will play a crucial role in caring for patients recovering from complex cardiac conditions, including surgeries, heart transplants, and cardiac arrest. This position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills in a 15-bed unit with an average nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, ensuring focused care.

• Competitive compensation of up to $53.65/hr for non-local candidates (inclusive of per diem) or $42.92/hr for local candidates.
• Flexible shift scheduling: 12-hour shifts, three days per week (06:45 19:15), totaling 36 hours per week.

What youll be doing:

• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate.
• Serve as the primary coordinator for interdisciplinary care to ensure well-coordinated and holistic treatment.
• Execute physician and nursing orders with precision and care.
• Assist with discharge planning, collaborating with healthcare team members.
• Deliver compassionate care to patients ranging from adolescence to late adulthood.

Requirements:

• RN with specialized experience in CVICU (1-3 years).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder.
• Ability to provide two professional references.
