Shift: Day
Pay Range: $65-70/hour DOE
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled RN Case Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Utilization Review and InterQual criteria, and a strong background in acute care hospital settings. This role involves conducting patient initial assessments, managing care coordination, and maintaining detailed documentation in EPIC EMR.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients to determine care needs and develop effective care plans.
· Utilize strong knowledge of Utilization Review processes and InterQual criteria to ensure appropriate care levels and resource utilization.
· Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
· Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient information and care activities using EPIC EMR.
· Ensure adherence to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in patient care management.
Qualifications:
· Registered Nurse (RN) with an active California RN license.
· Proven experience in Utilization Review and InterQual criteria.
· Acute care hospital experience.
· Proficiency in EPIC EMR documentation.
