Med Surg RN Job at Pride Health in Scottsbluff

Pride Health is hiring an Adult Med Surg Registered Nurse for our client in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This is a full-time travel contract position with rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. The position offers guaranteed 36 hours per week, providing an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced hospital setting.

Job Summary:

Pride Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Adult Med Surg RN to join our client’s team. This travel contract position spans 13 weeks, offering a variety of shifts (including days, nights, and weekends) with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, be adaptable to varying shift schedules, and be committed to delivering exceptional care in an adult med-surg setting.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Provide direct patient care to adults in a Med/Surg unit, ensuring comfort, safety, and optimal health outcomes.

·         Monitor patients' conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately.

·         Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.

·         Assist with patient assessments, wound care, and discharge planning.

·         Perform nursing procedures in compliance with hospital policies and patient needs.

·         Provide education to patients and families about health management, treatments, and recovery processes.

·         Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:

·         Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

·         At least 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg setting.

·         Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

·         Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

·         Ability to meet the performance expectations set by the facility and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

·         BLS and ACLS certifications required (or willing to obtain).

Additional Information:  

·         Location: Scottsbluff, Nebraska

·         Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract

·         Shifts: Rotating days and nights, including weekends.

·         Pay Range: $59/hr - $63/hr
