Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Emergency Room care to join a dynamic healthcare team in Silvis, IL. This position offers a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension, working onsite for 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, from 19:00 to 07:30 (36 hours per week). As an ER RN, you will play a critical role in providing care to patients in urgent and emergent situations, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

What you'll be doing:

• Implement and monitor patient care plans in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment
• Assess patient conditions, document findings, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
• Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
• Carry out physician and nursing orders accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate patient discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team

Requirements:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 1-3 years of Emergency Room experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
• Ability to provide two professional references
