What is the RN/LPN experience?
As the SNF/ALF Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Nurse (RN), in this role you'll be expected to:
- Oversee the care plan for residents, including ensuring that all members of the nursing team follow care directions appropriately, thereby maintaining a high standard of services that are aligned with state laws and regulations.
- Conduct rounds, identify early signs and symptoms, and note changes in residents' physical and psychological statuses.
- Consult with supervisors, physicians, Resident Care Managers, or the Director of Nursing Services as necessary.
- Supervise the nursing department's staffing, monitor, and schedule job assignments while establishing priorities for the nursing unit.
- Provide emotional support to residents and families in a professional manner.
- Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
- Uphold the privacy and confidentiality of information related to both residents and employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
What are the job qualifications?
- RN (Registered Nurse) / LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) current Oregon unencumbered license.
- Maintain current certification in CPR.
- Demonstrate leadership ability and desire for professional growth.
- Demonstrate knowledge and competence in practicing the principles of good nursing care.
- Able to interact well with staff as well as residents and their families.
- Able to prioritize multi-demanding role using initiative and judgment.
- Must consent to and pass a criminal background check.
