Your role at BHSN:
The RN Team Lead is responsible for supervising staff, coordinating activities and serving as the point of contact for clients regarding the respite program.

What your day might look like:
- Providing on-going feedback and evaluation to respite staff members.
- Working with staff members and clients to resolve issues that may arise regarding care.
- Coordinating care plans for new and existing clients.
- Providing initial feedback for admissions related to medical needs of clients
- Preparing initial paperwork and explaining respite services to the client’s family.
- Preparing the MAR and ensuring that client has the medications they will need during the stay.
- Coordinating medical care that may be needed during stay.
- Oversite of care while on shift
- First point of contact for any emergent needs of clients and staff
Your skills and qualifications:
- NYS Department of Education RN required
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team until collaborate across disciplines and programs.
- Broad clinical knowledge of psychiatric disorders, and psychiatric diagnosis.
- Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation required for local and regional travel.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
